Donna LeVan Ripple, 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2022.

She was born in Chattanooga, she later moved to Pelham, Tn., and then returned to Chattanooga and graduated from a local business college. She was an artist and in her earlier years she was active in the Chattanooga art community. She was a former member of the Valamont Women’s Club and the Civic Arts League. She previously attended New Bethel Baptist Church, Harrison.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Ripple; parents, Lucille LeVan Trew and Woodrow LeVan Sr.; brothers, Woodrow LeVan Jr and H. Clinton LeVan II.

Survivors include her son, Rob Ripple; step-daughter, Robin Godsey; sister, Sue Lynn Fults; grandchildren, Corey and Lillee Ripple; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Nevaeh Ripple; nephew, Jeffrey Fults.

The Reverend Dwight Henderson will conduct a memorial service on Monday, Feb. 13, at 12:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
