The Union Gospel Mission says they moving in full force in preparation for their Easter Sunday Community Dinner.
'We are excited about observing the resurrection of our Savior by providing approximately 400 meals to the 'least of these,' - our unhoused neighbors, needy families or folks just looking for a hot meal and a hug.
"We always include a special message regarding the Hope we can find in Christ and the true meaning of the Easter Season. For us, the concept of a dinner of ham, green beans, corn, potatoes, roll, drink and dessert only serves as an opportunity to help meet the greater need.
"Our message is simple, 'We Care.'
"Would you help us send that message? We still need a few hams and other supplies, what an awesome opportunity to make a difference in the lives of hurting people. You can also join us in volunteering to help serve Easter Dinner if you are available."
