Becky Rae Junkins Mullinax, 68, of LaFayette, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

Becky was a member of LaFayette First Methodist Church. She retired after 40 years from what is currently, Georgia Northwestern Technical College. She cherished her work family and lifelong friendships she made along the way. Becky adored each member of her very close family and several special friends that became family. She enjoyed hosting family events for many years and played a huge role in each of their lives. She was the “main cheerleader” of the crew. She loved country living, concerts, ballgames and beaches. All that knew her loved her and she will be greatly missed by so many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddy Mullinax , as well as her parents, Ray and Dozzie Junkins.

She is survived by her three daughters, Bonnie (Keith) Murray, Angela (Chad) Watkins, and Tessa (Michael) Baker as well as six grandchildren, Kaylie Murray, Reed Watkins, Weston Watkins, Charlie Baker, Mayson Watkins, and Jackie Rae Baker. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Billy (Judy) Mullinax, three nieces, two great-nieces, two great nephews and two great-great nephews. All of whom she loved dearly and touched deeply.

A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 25, from 2-4 p.m. at the LaFayette United Methodist Church. Following the gathering, those who wish to attend the graveside service may meet at Wesley Chapel Cemetery at 4:30 p.m.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.

Donations can be made to Erlanger Children's hospital in memory of Becky and in honor of her granddaughter Kaylie Rae.
