I would like to extend a thank you to the excellent orthopedic surgical team at Erlanger hospital. Today is Doctors Day and I would like the public to know about the great experiences I have had with their care.
About one year ago, my son had an accident on the playground at school. He sustained fractures to his right radius and ulna. He was treated by Dr. Dylan Morrow and Dr. Robert Quigley. He made a great recovery, and is now throwing baseballs and enjoying all of the fun and excitement of life.
In addition, my daughter underwent a minimally invasive hip surgery performed by Dr. Brandon Cincere. She has made a remarkable recovery and is back to cycling, rowing and hiking.
Thank you to these wonderful doctors who have rendered excellent care and also worked tirelessly to train the next generation of surgeons. It is truly a higher calling to teach young doctors and to provide for the perpetual well-being of our society.
I would also like to think Dr. Mark Freeman for his tireless work to establish the only DNV certified Orthopedic Center of Excellence in our area.
Finally, congratulations to Dr. Jeremy Bruce for his appointment as the chairman of the Department of Orthopedics. And, congratulations to Dr. Dirk Kiner for his appointment as the Residency Program director.
These physicians, their partners, and their staff do outstanding work every single day. I’m thankful that they are contributing to the well-being of my family and our community.
