Charles L. Worley, 83 of the Rising Fawn Community of Lookout Mountain passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

Mr. Worley was born on Feb. 20, 1940, in Soddy, to the late Arcy and Catherine Worley. He attended New Salem United Methodist Church. He retired from Iron Workers Union 704 after 35 years and after his retirement he and his wife Sue owned and operated Hidden Treasures Antiques. He enjoyed fishing and camping at Ocoee, hunting, and watching Nascar. Charles never met a stranger and treasured time with his family. He will be forever missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; Sue, brothers, Donald and Fred Worley.

Survivors include his son, Chuck (Donna) Worley; sisters, Etta Myers and Robbie Worley; grandchildren, Joshua (Erika) Worley, Libby (Harrison) Hawthorne, Ashley Horsley, Jacob Smith, and Christy Smith; stepdaughter, Jennifer Evans; six great-grandchildren; first wife and friend, Pat Heaps; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 24, at 11 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with officiating.

Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Garden East

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2–6 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville.
