McLemore Songwriter Series Begins May 18; 1st Concert Features Patrick Davis And Lauren Jenkins Davis

  • Wednesday, May 10, 2023
McLemore’s Songwriter Series season begins on May 18 with monthly performances through October.  This year’s performances are sponsored by First Bank and Land Rover of Chattanooga.

"The popularity of the series has grown over time and it is anticipated that most if not all shows will sell-out well in advance of the performance," officials said. "Ticket holders enjoy the opportunity to experience stories told by renowned songwriters in an intimate venue that encourages audience participation.

Patrick Davis and Lauren Jenkins Davis will perform at the opening concert May 18.   While the two are fan favorites, McLemore is also special to them.  The couple’s 2022 fall marriage at McLemore was featured in People magazine.

“The McLemore Songwriters Series offers special performances on Lookout Mountain for all individuals who enjoy the gifts of emerging and established singer-songwriters, and those who are fans of great music,” said IV Whitman, executive vice president of marketing for Scenic Land Company. “We are thrilled for Patrick and Lauren to return to McLemore as the series begins. We have such a special connection with them and we know this performance will be very well attended.”

Tickets for the May 18th performance are on sale now for $55 per person. Due to the limited number of available seats, McLemore highly recommends purchasing tickets in advance.
