An enthusiastic media spokesperson for a foreign development firm recently proudly predicted that the Gig City was going to become the equal of the three above municipalities in Tennessee, Georgia, and Texas.

Her prophetic prediction may become true but unfortunately the potential equalization also comes in the area of Crime.

On March 27, 2023 the Music City became the location of the tragic murder of five individuals killed at a private school.

On May 2, 2023 in the capitol of the Peach State one person was killed and four were injured by gunfire.

The history of the capital of the Longhorn State is still stained by the multiple killings of students shot from the bell tower by the barricaded gunman on campus, serial killer Charles Whitman.

Austin has also recently had problems with its sewage system like the Scenic City which is still under the jurisdiction of the federal district court in 2012 for several hundred millions of dollars of debt to replace the neglected maintenance and facilities.

Since Friday April 28, 2023 through Wednesday, May 3, 2023 a daily shooting or murder has taken place in the Dynamo of Dixie. Prior statistics speak for themselves!

The last event occurred before the apprehended shooter had unsuccessfully fired at a Chattanooga police officer.

Glossy and inflated news releases by authorities and the media in the “Best” categories distort the truth of the crime situation in our city while lauding the receipt of more local, state, and federal grant money to increase the $31.5 trillion national debt.

Hamilton County citizens can stand the truth! Just give it to them.
