Louise Kennedy, 97, passed away on May 1, 2023, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She was born on Sept. 9, 1925, to the late Grover and Pearl Starnes. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William T. Kennedy, and her son, Darrell Eachus.
Louise is survived by her daughter-in-law, Diane Eachus, her adoring grandsons, Tim Eachus (Libby), Mike Eachus (Victoria), and Monty Eachus, her six great-grandchildren and her lifelong friend for over 70 years Eva Barker.
Louise’s last 20 years of work were spent at Kingwood Pharmacy, where she masterfully managed the jewelry and fashion counter. Louise had an impeccable eye for detail and a knack for helping customers find the perfect gift or accessory for any occasion.
A very special thank you is extended to the team at Martin Boyd Christian Home for providing excellent care during Louise's final days. Their compassion, dedication, and commitment to ensuring that Louise remained comfortable and surrounded by love is deeply appreciated by her family and friends.
Louise’s interment will take place on Monday, May 8, at Forest Hills Cemetery in Chattanooga, at 2 p.m.
