Teresa Bradley
Teresa Bradley, affectionately known as “Go Go,” was born on November 23, 1965, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was a proud graduate of Howard High School, where she excelled as the captain of the girls’ basketball team. Teresa dedicated many years to custodial services throughout Chattanooga and was known for her strong work ethic and generous spirit.
Teresa was a talented tinkerer with a passion for repairing bicycles and electronics, and she enjoyed thrifting and reselling treasures she found. She brought her warmth and determination to everything she did.
She passed away peacefully at home at the age of 59. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lee Lane Sr. and Irene Bradley.
She is lovingly remembered by her siblings in Chattanooga, Ulysses Bradley (Alicia), Roy Lane Jr., Regina Jones, Theresa Bradley, Linda Collins (Glenn), Darian Bradley (Suteadra), Lee Otis Bradley (Felicia), and Floyd King (Sophia). She is also survived by Donald King of Sparta, Tn., and Glenda Ervin of Cincinnati, OH.
Teresa’s legacy lives on through her five children: Jessica Jones, Anthony Bradley, Erica Gospel (Famous), Michelle Bradley, and Emanuel Bradley. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, her beloved aunt Liz Hester, and her dearest friend, Betty J. Freeman.
“Go Go” was known for her glowing spirit and unmistakable presence. She was a devoted sibling, mother, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
Public viewing will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, until the hour of the service at noon, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., Chattanooga, 423 622-9995.
Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
