Ollie Tucker
Ollie Shelby Tucker Jr., of LaFayette, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023. He was 84.
He was born July 25, 1938 in Westmoreland, Tn., to the late Ollie S. Tucker Sr., and Beulah Kirby Tucker.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Rhudy Tucker; sister, Betty Kirby Tucker; and brother, James Kenneth Tucker.
Ollie retired from Shaw Ind. and was employed with Paul Thigpen Chevrolet.
He was a Mason at Western Lodge #91 and Marquis De LaFayette Daylight Lodge #765 in LaFayette. He was also a member of Alhambra Shriners in Chattanooga, Tenn.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Ricky Ball and Michelle and Robert Franks; grandchildren, Danielle and Chris Humphrey, Tobin and Lindsey Ball, Jessica Franks, Alex and Katelyn Franks, and Lauren Franks and Isaac Wehner; great grandchildren, Allee Humphrey, Eleanor Franks, and Houston Franks.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, at LaFayette Memory Gardens with Randy Rush officiating.
Pallbearers are his Masonic brothers.
Honorary pallbearers are Damon Skates, Randall Cagle, and Greg Rhudy.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 26, at the funeral home.
