Flag Retirement Ceremony Set For June 14

  • Wednesday, June 7, 2023

The VFW Post 1697, American Legion Post 257, and John Sevier Chapter of Sons of the American Revolution will respectfully retire unserviceable flags at 6 p.m. on June 14.

The event will be in the Collegedale Veterans Park, across Apison Pike from the Collegedale Library, 9318 Apison Pike, Ooltewah, Tn. 37363.

The public is invited to watch and local Scouts and Pathfinder clubs are invited to participate.

Anyone with a flag that needs retiring, should take it to the ceremony.
