Former Hixson Basketball Standout Kirby Brown Gets D1 Scholarship

Kirby Brown when she played for Hixson
Kirby Brown, a four-year starter playing basketball for the Hixson High School girls basketball team, has signed to play at the D1 level.
She graduated in the class of 2020, ending her high school career as the school's career scoring leader. She scored 1,080 points during her four years playing varsity basketball.
She subsequently signed a scholarship to play junior college basketball with Roane State Community College in Harriman.
During her time at Roane State, she was a two-time first team all conference recipient, a member of the conference tournament all tournament team, and once voted as conference player of the week in 2023.
She has accepted a full scholarship to continue her basketball career at Radford University, a division one program participating in the Big South Conference.
