Parkridge Health System and Parkridge Valley Hospital announces Krikor Jansezian, Ph.D. as the new chief executive officer of Parkridge Health’s behavioral health services.
As CEO, Dr. Jansezian will oversee operations at all behavioral health facilities of Parkridge Health System to include Parkridge Valley Adult Campus, Parkridge Valley Child & Adolescent Campus, Parkridge Valley West and Parkridge Valley Cleveland Outpatient.
“As more people realize there’s help available to address mental health, we are seeing an ever-greater need for those services in the Chattanooga region,” Chris Cosby, president and CEO of Parkridge Health, said.
“As the new CEO of our Parkridge Valley Hospital behavioral health services for both adults and children, Dr. Jansezian will bring his added expertise and considerable experience in mental health leadership to our family of hospitals.”
Dr. Jansezian was most recently chief operating officer for St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, Mt. Prior to that, he was the executive administrator of professional and ancillary services at Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Subsequent to those roles, Dr. Jansezian has served in a senior leadership capacity at several hospitals, including UC Irvine Health, Memorial Care Long Beach Medical Center Community Hospital, Huntington Hospital and Robert F. Kennedy Medical Center, all in California.
Dr. Jansezian received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. He received his master’s degrees in general psychology from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Ca., and in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles, respectively. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served on numerous community and health-based boards throughout his decades-long career.
