The Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Board of Stewards has announced the All-Academic Team for the 2022-23 academic year. Amongthe honorees was a former McCallie student-athlete. Richmond Coney, a 2019 McCallie graduate and currently enrooled at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Penn., was recently named to the Intercollegiate Rowing Association's All-Academic team in addition to being named an Empacher-IRCA Scholar Athlete for the second time.
To be eligible for recognition a student-athlete must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.35 or higher, completed one full year at their institution (freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible), be an institutional letter winner, and competed at the 2023 IRA National Championship Regatta.
