Lamar Eaton
Lamar Eaton, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023.
Mr. Eaton was born and raised in Chattanooga. He graduated from Central High School Class of 1954, was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church, and retired after 42½ years at Chattanooga Paper Mill/Rock Tenn. His earlier hobbies included gardening and working in his yard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Eaton; parents, Robert and Leola Eaton; and brothers, Elwood and Merriel Eaton.
Surviving are his sons, Robert L. Eaton and Derrick (Janet) Eaton; grandchildren, Samantha (Andrew) Sisk and Cooper Eaton; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at the funeral home.
Private graveside services will follow.
