Cleveland City Schools will be closed on Thursday due to the receipt of emails late Wednesday night at multiple schools that may be interpreted as threats.
Officials said, "The Cleveland Police Department is actively investigating, and we intend to resume regular operations on Friday. We apologize for this last-minute decision, but the safety of our students and staff must be a top priority. Please be aware that all extracurricular activities scheduled for Thursday are also postponed."
