Greg George, age 70, of Rocky Face, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his father, Simon George; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Walter and Nancy Zeager.

Greg was a loving father to his children and his fur-babies, Augie and Diego.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Valerie George; daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Scott Lance of Rocky Face; son, David George of Dalton; mother, Eileen George of PA.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Joe Greenberg, Maureen and Wilson Gonzalez of PA.; brother, Gavin George of NJ.; grandchildren, Sam, Lily and Zachrey Lance of Rocky Face, Brittney and Chanthy Ramirez of Lafayette.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Dalton with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Creative Arts Guild or Cedartown Animal Rescue caresga.org.
