Calvary Bible Church, 4001 Mountain Creek Road in Chattanooga, celebrated “Pastors Wife Appreciation Sunday” this past weekend.
The congregation honored Jan Henry, wife of pastor Dr. Bill Henry, with a luncheon in the church fellowship hall.
Dr. Henry came to Calvary Bible Church in Feb. 2012 as pastor.
Dr. Henry said, “My wife has been very supportive of my ministry, beginning with the establishment of a church in our Ooltewah home, and then being called by Calvary to service as their pastor 11 years ago."
The Henry’s have been married for 48 years and have two sons, John and Andrew Henry.
Calvary Bible Church was established in 1969 by the late Rev. John S. Lanham.
