36th Annual Southern Festival Of Books Set For Oct. 26-27 In Nashville

This fall, Humanities Tennessee will welcome more than 175 authors and 25,000 visitors to Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in Nashville for the 36th annual Southern Festival of Books.

The family-friendly weekend festival will be held at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, Tennessee State Museum, and Tennessee State Library and Archives on Saturday, Oct. 26, and Sunday, Oct. 27. A special Student Reader Day will be held on Friday, Oct. 25, for more than 500 students from across Middle Tennessee.

The festival will include author panels, signings, and book sales, as well as live performances, food trucks, a beer garden, appearances by beloved book characters, book vendors, and a children’s area.

Saturday, Oct. 26, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (open to the public) 

Sunday, Oct. 27, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (open to the public)
