Tournament No. 2 is on the docket this week for the Chattanooga Mocs men’s golf team. Next up is the Cullan Brown Collegiate hosted by Kentucky at Lexington Country Club. The 2-day, 54-hole event opens play with 36 holes Monday before Tuesday’s final 18.
Qualifying was fierce for this with three staying in the lineup from week one. Braedon Wear is joined again by Camden Braidech and Ethan Whitaker, while Carson Johnson and Nick Etherton slot in. That quintet has 43 career starts with 32 going to Wear.
There are also three individuals in the van.
Garrett Engle and Dalton Chuba started opening week but are playing on their own this week. Dalton Burts, a transfer from Augusta, is making his first Mocs appearance.
Chattanooga is paired with Kentucky and Kennesaw State Monday morning in a 9 a.m., shotgun start. The pairing starts on holes 1-3.
