Silverdale clinched the number two seed in the East Region of DII-AA with a comeback 28-16 win over Christian Academy oi Knoxville Friday night on the Seahawks home turf. As such, they will host ECS next Friday night in round one of the post-season.
Landon Deitch led the win from the quarterback position, throwng for 221 yards and two scores, while piling up 80 rushing yards including a 56 yard scamper for a touchdown. Landon Deitch ran for 97 yards on 24 carries and Cannon Rogers hauled in seven passes for 136 yards and a trip to the house.
The Seahawks trailed 16-7 at the half before scoring 21 unanswered point in the second stanza.
Carter Brown and Maleak McAlister led Silverdale’s defense with six and 6.5 tackles, respectively.
