Bradley Keith Marks
Bradley Keith Marks, 42, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024.
He was a soul of boundless warmth and energy, whose heart of gold brought light and laughter to everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. Bradley was a man of infectious joy, a master of hearty bear hugs, and a spirit so generous that he left a lasting impression on all he met. Outgoing and boisterous, he had an effortless way of turning strangers into friends and bringing smiles to even the hardest of days. His laughter filled rooms, and his presence made others feel both seen and cherished.
As a chef, Bradley was a true craftsman, pouring love and care into every dish. He didn’t just create food; he crafted experiences, each meal a testament to his passion and dedication to his art. His kitchen was a place where stories were shared, friendships were forged, and all were welcomed. His generosity of spirit was matched only by the incredible generosity he showed in his care for others, always quick to lend a hand, share a laugh, or offer comfort.
Bradley was a family man who cherished every moment with his loved ones. He adored his wife, Malori, and took immense pride in being a father to his two beautiful daughters, Adeline (6) and Amelia (4). Bradley had a knack for making life memorable, especially through family vacations to Disney, where he delighted in creating magical experiences for his girls. Whether it was cooking a special meal at home or planning outdoor adventures, Bradley put his heart into every moment shared with his family.
A member of Silverdale Baptist Church, Bradley publicly professed his faith through baptism in 2019, a testament to the deep and guiding values he held. Outside the kitchen, he was happiest in nature—camping, exploring the outdoors, and even hiking part of the Appalachian Trail as a teen. Yet, when fall arrived, Bradley’s passion turned to cheering on his Tennessee Volunteers, a team he rooted for with all his heart.
Those who knew Bradley, knew a man who gave fully of himself, living a life that enriched everyone around him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and remarkable talent that will be forever missed and cherished.
Bradley was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lewis and Helen Marks; maternal grandparents, Barbara and Tom Stevens and Jesse Watson; uncles Lewis and Randy Marks; and granny-in-love Janet Chattin.
He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Malori; daughters, Adeline and Amelia; parents, Barry and Becky; brothers, Michael (Beth) and Jeffrey (Caroline); grandmother, Faye Watson; parents-in-law, Tim and Robin Vickers; sisters-in-law, Meredith (Drew) Hardin and Madison Harjes; and a large extended family, including many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
