I have lived on Ooltewah-Georgetown road for 67 years and have never seen anything like this. I can barely turn out of my driveway either way without getting hit by an oncoming car. I have asked around and discovered the two Hamilton County commissioners in my part of town are Eversole and Highlander but never heard of either of them until now. I got my nephew to help me watch the weekly meetings for commission and am sad to see they spend most of their time arguing with our County Mayor Mr. Wamp.
I barely hear anything about what they are doing about the mayhem traffic in Ooltewah and can’t help but wander if Mr. Eversole even knows what he is supposed to do as the chair of our commission. I voted for Mr. Wamp and see he is in the community all of the time and working hard, but we need something done out here in Ooltewah. At least Mr. Wamp is trying to make it better but I cannot say the same about my commissioners and even though I am in my old age I would like to see younger leaders in our commission in the future. The current ones only want to bicker and getting nothing done for us.
