Susan Hall
Susan Hall, a loving mom, grandmother, sister and friend, residing in Hixson, Tennessee, went to be with her Savior in heaven on December 29, 2024, at the age of 68.
Susan enjoyed studying her Bible and praying for others. She was a strong woman of God and was a passionate advocate for animals. Her pets brought much joy to her life.
Sue never met a stranger, was always ready with a funny or witty comment. When Sue was around, you knew to expect the unexpected and have a good laugh.
She was born in Washington DC and graduated from Lakeview Ft. Oglethorpe High School Class of '74. Susan proudly served our country for 10 years as a veteran of the United States Air Force in Spain, England and in the States. She went on to graduate from college with honors and worked in health information management for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her children, Danielle Slade, Jennifer McCullough, Bradley Marsh; grandchildren, Alexandra Slade, Eric Slade, Connor McCullough, Christian McCullough; and sisters, Dottie Lucas, Samantha (Chris) Dawson.
Sue was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Aime Oric who died of childhood leukemia, her father, Arnold C. West, mother, Clara West, and brothers, Stephen West and Douglas West.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1, at Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel Rossville, Ga.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude in memory of Aime Oric, or a tribute of your choice is equally welcome.
