Sponsorships and tables are available for Erlanger’s 20th Annual Dinner of Distinction honoring Drs. Jeffrey W. Gefter, James Sizemore and Laura E. Witherspoon, and Erlanger Board Member Vicky B. Gregg on Friday, March 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the Westin Hotel Ballroom.
Distinguished Physicians Drs. Gefter, Sizemore and Witherspoon were selected by previous honorees to be recognized for their "enduring commitment to improving the community’s health and demonstrating unquestionable character and human compassion." Additional criteria used to choose honorees include a person who has contributed a lifetime of medical benefit to the community and a person committed to Erlanger’s healing mission and values.
Erlanger Foundation will also honor Vicky B.
Gregg with the “Gordon Street Distinguished Community Leadership Award.” This annual award is presented to leaders who have "championed the advancement of healthcare in the Chattanooga region, are committed to improving health throughout our community, and are dedicated to Erlanger’s healing mission and values."
Erlanger’s Dinner of Distinction, chaired by Rhoda and Dr. B.W. Ruffner, Jr. and Courtney and Dr. Harish Manyam, will be held Friday, March 1, at the Westin Hotel. A welcome reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and a program honoring the 2024 Distinguished Honorees at 7 p.m.
"This year’s dinner marks a significant milestone in the Erlanger Foundation’s journey to commemorate the outstanding achievements and dedication of these esteemed honorees," officials said. "The Dinner of Distinction was established two decades ago with the vision of celebrating those committed to advancing healthcare in the community. This year’s honorees and their stories of perseverance, innovation, and compassion will undoubtedly inspire attendees and set the standard for future generations.

Premier seating sponsorships are currently available at $2,000 per table. Tickets are $200 per person.
