William E. Denney Jr.,86, of Kimball, Tn. passed away peacefully, Sunday, February 11, 2024.

William was born in Comfort, Tn., Marion County to William E. Denney Sr. and Edith P. Denney. William was married to his loving wife since 1963.

William was a mechanic for 42 years and a security guard for 12 years. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. William was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed getting together with his family. He also loved spending his downtime gardening.

William was preceded in death by his beloved wife Patricia Denney, father, William E. Denney Sr., his mother, Edith Pearl Denney, sisters: Thelma Louise Denney, Allie Mae Denney Wilkey, and grandson, Kenneth Quinton Byram.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons: William E. Denney III(Angie) of Scottsboro, Al., Thomas ”Tommy” Denney of Kimball, Tn., daughters: Pamela (Jackie) Kirk of Front Royal, Va., Janet Byram of Kimball, Tn., Brother Johnnie Denney of Gizzard Cove, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, very special friend Diane Massengale and Steve Moss,  as well as numerous other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 4 to 8 p.m.. Visitation Wednesday, Feb. 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Chapel Service Feb. 14, from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by a committal service at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Cemetery at 2:15 p.m.

Services have been entrusted to Jasper Memorial Funeral Home, 150 Cornerstone Drive Jasper, Tn. 37347. 423-942-7777
