Signal Centers’ Hart Gallery Announces Early Bird Tickets For Extravaganza III: Party With Picasso

  • Wednesday, February 14, 2024
Signal Centers’ Extravaganza III: Party with Picasso, has released its early bird tickets to the public. The event takes place on April 4 at 5:30 p.m., and raises funds for the Hart Gallery, a program of Signal Centers.

Founded by Ellen Heavilon over 13 years ago, the Hart Gallery provides opportunities to create and sell artwork for people experiencing homelessness, people living with mental and physical disabilities, veterans, individuals fleeing abusive situations, political refugees and many others.

With over $66,000 raised at the first two events, this year’s Extravaganza will include food, silent and live auctions of art donated by diverse Chattanooga creators, and sales of hand-picked pieces from the Hart Gallery artists themselves. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the auctions will go directly to artists in need.

Each year, the Extravaganza planning committee selects a theme that is consistent with the stories of healing and hope the Hart Gallery provides. To showcase the diversity of art and experiences that are reflective of the Gallery’s artists, this year’s theme pays tribute to Pablo Picasso’s Cubism.

“The distinctiveness of skills and stories we see in this program deserves to be celebrated,” says Donna McConnico, Signal Centers’ CEO. “Each unique art piece represents a different history, a different angle of viewing life—much the same as Cubism.”

Early bird tickets for Extravaganza III are now on sale starting at $75. Group tickets are also available for tables of eight guests. The early bird period will conclude on March 4. Those interested in attending can visit www.signalcenters.org and click the “Buy Early Bird Tickets Now” button on the homepage. Those who may not be able to join in person but would still like to donate to the cause can visit the same page to make their contribution.
