The Forgotten Child Fund announces the grand opening of its new forever home at the old Harrison Elementary School.

A celebration will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at 5637 Highway 58 in Harrison.

This event marks a significant milestone in the mission to support children and families in need throughout the community. The Forgotten Child Fund has transformed part of this historic school building into a hub of hope and compassion for those who need it most.

The grand opening ceremony will feature remarks from the leadership team, special guests, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the doors to the community.

Officials said, "We are immensely grateful for the dedication and commitment of our volunteers, whose tireless efforts have made this dream a reality. Your compassion and generosity have touched countless lives, and we look forward to continuing our work together in our new home.

"Together, let us embark on this new journey of compassion and service as we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in need."

The Forgotten Child Fund was established in 1963 by Chattanooga Police Officer Johnny Wright.
