Samuel Kurtis Wilson, 69, of Trenton, Ga., passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 in a local healthcare facility.

Alongside his father, Kurtis was the owner and operator of Billy S. Wilson Construction Company was a member of Wildwood United Methodist Church. He was an avid listener of music, playing the guitar, and a huge Tennessee Vols fan. Kurtis was preceded in death by his parents, Billy S. & Sylvia Ann Britt Wilson, brother, Gary Wilson, & sister, Tamera Wilson.

Survivors include his children, Kevin (Brooke) Wilson of Trenton, Ga., Kerry (Kristin) Wilson, Brentwood, Tn., & Kristin Kelley (Nick Shotwell) of Franklin, Tn.; grandchildren, Kylee Wilson, Alyssa Wilson, Amaya Phillips, Kendyl Phillips, Kamryn Phillips, Cameron Wilson, Conner Wilson, Cooper Wilson, Charlotte Wilson, Gracie Kelley, Liam Shotwell, & Lily Shotwell; great-granddaughter, Everleigh Johnson; sisters, Mitzi Dean & Gerry “Mimi” Wilson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 26, at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Chris Dover officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Chattanooga, Tn.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, Ga.
