Some claim that there are 52 individuals that work in the Central Office that supervise the lead teachers in the schools. There are three of these people for each subject area and grade so if you add it up, 52 sounds right. This number does not include lead teachers that work in the schools. How many of those are there?
I might suggest that all of these folks be returned to the classroom. Let them teach and while they teach, the teachers in their school can observe and take notes on how it's done on their free period. By the way, this is not a new idea, observing veteran teachers.
This would save lots of money for new hires and reduce the pupil-teacher ratio a great deal.
Again, I ask the Hamilton County Commissioners and the mayor to scrutinize the education budget minutely. Call your commissioner and tell them to fix this.
