Headed For DC

  • Saturday, May 25, 2024

I have lived in Chattanooga for the past (and only) 18 years of my life. I love my city. It’s raised me, and given me opportunities and a unique perspective. I will always be grateful for my beautiful city.

On Tuesday, I’ll pack up all my stuff and move 500 miles away to Washington, DC. I’m frankly scared as one can be. I’m leaving many friends, my family, and the city that raised me to go somewhere comparatively unfamiliar. I have faith, though, - in myself, in the Creator, in the goodness of the friends I already have.

I will be fine.

So, Chattanooga, consider this my thank you note. You’ve served me well and one day I hope to serve you well.
