Cambridge Square’s most recent dining concept, Acme Fusion Café (Acme), has officially opened, bringing "a quick-serve, eclectic dining option that combines multiple culinary techniques, spices, and flavors which have been inspired by a variety of ethnic cuisines."
The restaurant is located at 9469 Bradmore Lane within the development’s public square and offers indoor and outdoor seating.
Local chef Chenhui Li will oversee the kitchen and operations at Acme.
Cambridge Square is a commercial and residential community located in Ooltewah, just east of I-75 North. It is home to more than 40 local restaurants, retailers, health and fitness businesses, healthcare and professional service office tenants.
“One of the perks that comes with working closely with out tenants is our ability to get behind-the-scene-access to their concepts - long before they are introduced to the public,” said Jim Cheney who oversees marketing and leasing for Cambridge. “In this instance, we were able to be taste-testers for Chef Li and I can say first-hand that people are in for a real treat when they visit Acme. It’s an exciting, delicious experience and is unlike anything else in the market.”
Chef Li grew-up in Las Vegas, Nevada and Orange Beach, Alabama where he discovered an appetite and curiosity for unique dining environments, and international food. His Acme menu pays special homage to seafood fare, but also contains new takes on traditional items. Some specific menu options include Chili Tuna Tartar, Salmon Carpaccio, Cumin Infused Lamb Chops, a variety of fusion tacos featuring beef, chicken, and fish with pickled vegetables, Crab and Corn Chowder, traditional fish and chips, and Fuji Salad.
Acme is open Tuesday - Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and closed on Mondays.
