Developer and general contractor BP Construction has announced the expansion of the professional service and medical office development Summit at Apison and Lee (Summit) with plans to construct a third class-A building on the property, located at the intersection of Apison Pike and Old Lee Highway. The third building, which is now pre-leasing, will advance the total project square footage to 30,000 square feet.
Construction for Summit began in 2022. The first two buildings have reached full occupancy with professionals engaged in dental, medical, and financial services. The new two-story building offers 10,000 square feet of available space with a groundbreaking anticipated for late fall this year.
Summit is representative of the growth pattern for this evolving business corridor which provides connectivity to Collegedale, Ooltewah, and the I-75 Volkswagen exit.
“We are very proud to be a part of this development,” said BP President Jeff Garner. “It’s always great to work on projects that strike a balance between an elevated aesthetic and functionality and these buildings do both very well. And obviously, with plans to construct a third building, the demand for this type of space is evident.”
Architecturally, the Summit buildings offer traditional brick elevations with extensive natural light, spacious, usable second story balconies, stair and elevator access, customizable floorplans, and self-contained on-site parking with immediate access to the buildings’ entrances.
Summit is owned and operated by a private investment entity.
