Mountain Arts Community Center Hosts D2 School Board Candidate Forum June 23

CALEB announces the Mountain Arts Community Center's School Board Candidate Forum for Hamilton County District 2. This event is scheduled for this Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at 809 Kentucky Ave. in Signal Mountain.

Officials said, "School Board Candidate Forums offer Chattanoogan residents a pivotal opportunity to engage directly with candidates vying for the District 2 School Board seat. Attendees will hear candidates' perspectives on pressing education issues, including but not limited to: school infrastructure, school safety, budget priorities, teacher and staffing pay, special education and discipline policies.

"This forum will equip voters with essential insights into candidates' stances on critical education matters.
It's crucial that we use our voting power responsibly to advocate for the best interests of our community's children.

"By participating in the School Board Candidate Forum, Chattanooga residents can: fain firsthand knowledge of candidates' platforms and priorities; learn about local education policies that directly impact our schools; and engage in meaningful dialogue to influence the direction of education in our community.

"Join us on June 23 at the Mountain Arts Community Center, to participate in the School Board Candidate Forum. Your presence and engagement will contribute to an informed electorate committed to advancing the well-being of Chattanooga's children."
