Dorothy Ann "Dot" Woody, born in 1936 to Otis and Mattie Lee Crawford, a wife of 68 years, a mother, a grandmother, a teacher and a friend has gone home to be with Jesus.

She will be greeted by a mom, dad, sisters and brothers, leaving behind husband, Buddy Woody, sons Terry (Tammy) Woody, Marty (Connie) Woody, daughter Rhonda Woody, grandsons, Nolan (Nicole) Woody, Garrett (Ashley) Woody, and granddaughter, Chelsea Obert, great-grandchildren, Ella, Isaiah, Alena, Lincoln, Drake, Houston, and Lyla.

She was employed as a kindergarten teacher and retired as a secretary for the State of Tennessee.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Chapel service at 1 p.m. followed by interment at Lakewood West Cemetery at 2 p.m.
