Pray Chattanooga Hosts "Back2Life Back To School" Event Aug. 3 At Revive Church

Pray Chattanooga, in partnership with 14 local churches and non-profits, announces the Back2Life Back to School Event on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Revive Church in Chattanooga at 4872 Jersey Pike. This community-focused Back to School event aims to support local students and families as they prepare for the 2024-25 school year.

Officials said, "The day will feature the distribution of essential school supplies, ensuring that students have the tools they need to succeed."

In addition to school supplies, the event will offer a variety of services and activities including:
• Food Distribution: complimentary lunch and a food pantry to support families;
• Sports Physicals: complimentary sports physicals for students;
• Haircut Vouchers: vouchers for free haircuts;
• Inflatables: fun activities and inflatables for children to enjoy; and
• Prayer Stations: stations where families can receive blessings and support for the upcoming school year.

"We are thrilled to come together with our church and community partners to host the Back2Life Back to School Event," said Danny Hesterly of Pray Chattanooga.
"Our goal is to ensure that area children start the school year with prayer and the necessary resources to thrive."

Pray Chattanooga anticipates serving 500 students through this event. Registration is required to participate. Families can register for Back2Life by visiting www.back2lifechattanooga.com.
