Sharpe Wants Wamp's Job - And Response (2)

  • Thursday, September 19, 2024
It's becoming more clear by the day Commissioner David Sharpe wants County Mayor Weston Wamp's job....and you have to wonder if Commissioner Eversole does too?
How does a County Commission with an 8-3 Republican majority embolden the lone lefty?
The chair continues to let this radical Democrat hijack commission meetings hindering the body's ability to do the work of the people.
On behalf of all taxpayers, would you please let the mayor do his job? He's pretty good at it.

I second Jim Merklinger's opinion regarding David Sharpe.
Sharpe was on WGOW today whining about not getting information he needs from County Mayor Wamp. When J.R. asked him to be specific, he could not (or would not) answer the question. I expected him to start with the "I was raised a middle class kid..." line that is used by another politician that evades all of the tough questions.

I am glad we have a great county mayor. I feel like he represents what Chattanooga needs in a leader. We are fortunate and lucky to have him.

Do not replace him with anyone who wants his job. He is the first Republican i have voted for in forever. I will continue to vote for him.

Go, Wamp, go.
