Beth Sosebee Walker, 64, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

Beth was born on Nov. 5, 1959, in Chattanooga, Tn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Waynette Sosebee and brother, Hal (Mo) Sosebee.

She will be missed by her loving family including daughter, Sandy Chandler (Josh), Clint Brakebill (Lauren), four precious grandsons whom she adored: Kylan Chandler, Hudson Chandler, Sam Brakebill and Thomas Brakebill; brother Steve Sosebee (Karen), sister Sandy Sosebee Brick and multiple nieces and nephews.

Beth graduated from East Ridge High School in 1977 and went on to build a very successful career in sales which was a testament to her tenacity and unwavering commitment. She ended her career at First Horizon Financial Advisors where she found great fulfillment and precious friends.

Throughout her life she exhibited a knack for developing successful friendships that stood the test of time. With a heart full of joy she experienced life to the fullest leaving no dreams unchased. She found happiness in music, dance, travel and photography and had a passion for animals; with a special love for all of the dogs in her life. She loved the Lord and was looking forward to being with Him and all the family and friends in Heaven that have gone on before her. Though she may be gone, her outlook on life will continue to inspire and empower those who knew her.

There will be no traditional funeral as Beth, like her father before her, has donated her body to the University of Tennessee Medical School at Memphis. There will be an intimate “Celebration of Life” at a later date.

To honor her memory, please consider donating to the ASPCA as she was a member for over 30 years and believed strongly in their mission. Click here.
