Covenant College women's soccer team took on No. 13 Emory looking to earn a ranked victory going into Homecoming weekend. The Scots took the lead early, but the Eagles attack proved to be too much to reckon with winning 3-1.

Covenant keeper Bronwyn Kickasola was busy as she made four saves in the next 15 minutes.
In the 33rd minute, Emory thought it tied the match, but a goal was ruled back for offside.
Right before halftime in the 42nd minute, Emory got its equalizer as Kaitlyn Nimmer scored from close range after a pass from Emily Woodall.
At the intermission, the Eagles had outshot the Scots 17-7.
