The Chattanooga Mocs women’s golf team is back in action this weekend at an old friend. The ladies are making their 11th visit to Vanderbilt’s Mason Rudolph Championships. The 3-day, 54-hole event takes place at the VU Legends Club on the north course.
This is the second time out for the Mocs and they’re facing a top-flight field. Twelve of the 16 teams in attendance come from the “power 4” ranks and is annual early exam for the program.
Four of the five starters at New Mexico are back in the lineup led by sophomore Violeta Fernandez-Tagle.
Juniors Kera Healey and Makenzie Cooper along with sophomore Giulia Foresta are joined by freshman Chloe Stevenazzi who is making her first appearance in blue & gold.
She leads off Friday at 9:35 a.m., Eastern time, off hole No. 10. The Mocs are paired with Baylor and Georgia Southern. Foresta (9:44), Cooper (9:53), Healey (10:02) and Fernandez-Tagle (10:11) round out the morning start times.
