Erlanger announced on Friday that Julie Taylor, president and chief development officer of the Erlanger Foundation, will retire on Sept. 30, and has launched a national search to find her successor.

Ms. Taylor has spent the past 11 years leading the Erlanger Foundation, which is committed to advancing healthcare through philanthropy. Under her leadership, she has positioned Erlanger and the Foundation as philanthropic leaders in the region and continuously set and broken records—forging meaningful partnerships while inspiring unprecedented levels of community support.

"Julie has been an integral part of the Erlanger Foundation’s success,” said Wendy Fournet, executive vice president and chief administrative officer. “Her dedication and vision have helped ensure that the foundation remains a key driver of philanthropic support for Erlanger. Julie has positioned the health system for a brighter future with a solid foundation of community support.”

Officials said, "As Erlanger embarks on the next chapter of growth and innovation, we are seeking both local and national talent who possess a passion for healthcare philanthropy and a strong vision for advancing the foundation’s mission."
