8-Year-Old Local Jet Ski Racer To Compete At World Finals

Cash McClure, an 8-year-old from Soddy Daisy, is preparing to race at the IJSBA World Finals Jet Ski Race in Lake Havasu, Az. on Oct. 5-14.

Cash started the season racing with AJSA and was the series point champion for the 8-9 class. He competed in the IJSBA Jettrim Jr. Nationals in Oklahoma and became the 2024 Jr. National Champion (8-9 years old) which qualified him to race at World Finals.

He has been racing for one year and traveled to eight states and competed in 10 races over the summer. He will race in the 10-13 year old ski lites class at World Finals, where international and national riders compete against the best of the best for the world title.
