Marion Gaye Paty Wade, 61, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at her home in Dayton, Tennessee.

Gaye grew up on Missionary Ridge in Chattanooga and attended Notre Dame HS, Chatt State, and UTC, majoring in English. Gaye worked as a legal assistant for a number of years and also along with her husband owned Parkway Billiards Bar & Grill Inc. for 18 years. Gaye was an excellent pool player and she also enjoyed shooting guns, playing poker, skiing and boating, college football, NASCAR, and watching PGA golf.

Gaye was of the Christian faith and was a member of Cross Culture Christian Church in Chattanooga. She helped many out in need, whether it be a ride somewhere from the site of a broken down vehicle to a meal in the stomach of someone hungry. She was blessed with both courage and grace.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Mother, Selma Cash Paty, Father, Ralph Douglas Paty Sr., as well as her beloved nephew Charles Oates Hoyle Rymer.

Gaye leaves behind her husband of 34 years, Robbie Wade and sons, Jake Wade and John(Josey) Wade, all of Dayton, and Geoffrey Shane Wade of Chattanooga, bonus daughter, Amber Wade of Spencer, Tn.; brothers, Charles (Kerrie) Paty, Ralph (Amy) Paty and sister Kem Alexander, all of Chattanooga, and sister Pamela Rymer O'Dwyer of McDonald.

Arrangements will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of sending flowers, we ask that you send donations to Cross Culture Christian Church, St Jude Children's Hospital, or the Hunter Worley Foundation in Ringgold.

Arrangements are entrusted to Covenant Funeral & Crematory.
