Jones Memorial United Methodist Church 46th Annual BBQ Set For Sept. 21

  • Monday, September 9, 2024

It is barbecue time again for the church-wide Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, where the whole congregation will be involved this year. All ages of the church gather on this day to support the church's mission to the community. All donations and tickets sales will go to coats for the children in the East Ridge area.

The barbecue sauce recipe was developed many years ago by a church member, Tom Martin, who started the barbecue and is dedicated in his memory every year. The recipe continues every year.

Women of the church will have a bake sale and the youth will be selling and delivering BBQ to local businesses in East Ridge on Saturday morning.

BBQ plates will be $10.00

X-Large Sandwich - $8.00

Stuffed Potatoes- $10.00

By the Pound $12.00

The barbecue will be from 10 a.m – 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, 4131 Ringgold Road, East Ridge.
