Officials said, "The Angel Tree program is a cornerstone of The Salvation Army's commitment to serving those in need during the holiday season. By providing new clothing, toys and gifts, the program ensures that the magic of Christmas is alive for every child and senior in our community. Once registered and accepted, each Angel’s wishlist is shared with generous donors who fulfill these holiday wishes. The gifts are then distributed to families in time for Christmas, giving parents the joy of placing presents under the tree for their children."
"The Salvation Army is committed to ensuring that every child and senior has a joyous Christmas, regardless of their circumstances," said Major Douglas McClure, area commander for The Salvation Army in Chattanooga. "We encourage all eligible families and seniors to come out and register for this wonderful program."
