The Chattanooga Area Pollinator Partnership, an initiative by Tennessee Valley Wild Ones, is accepting applications for the Seeds for Education Grant.

Native plants, shrubs, and trees, some edible and sensory-packed, can enrich school and program curricula with experiential learning tools about the ecosystem. Each recipient will be partnered with a mentor who serves to support and troubleshoot throughout the year.

First installment of the grant is $750. During the second year, the recipient will have access to an additional $250 to replenish after the first season. The Lyndhurst Foundation supports this grant program.

The deadline to apply is Sunday, Sept. 15. Click here for more information.
