The Mocs and Mountaineers had a classic battle. The two squads traded blows through the first seven bout with App State up 14-12 after the Mocs led since Eli Knight’s pin at 141. Kamdyn Munro continued his impressive march through the league with a tech fall at 184 before the Mountaineers claimed 10 points in the final two matches to complete a come from behind 24-17 final.
"We are close," UTC Head Coach Kyle Ruschell said. "We are battling through these tough duals. We all need to knocking on the door and the confidence to break through as we work toward March."
