Morning Pointe Senior Living has named Justin Leiter as director of dining operations for the company.

Mr. Leiter has been in food service for 20 years. He is a professionally trained chef with extensive healthcare leadership experience, including roles as an executive chef and director of food and nutrition services at two prominent Nashville metropolitan hospitals. He has a degree in culinary arts and is ServSafe certified.

In his new role, Mr. Leiter oversees dining services across the company’s 40 communities. He trains new food service directors and support the dietary teams with menus, budgeting and acquiring fresh local ingredients, among other responsibilities.

“I started in food service for the creative, artistic expression, but once I began working in healthcare, I came to also value the feeling that I was making a difference in someone’s life,” said Mr. Leiter. “In coming to Morning Pointe, I appreciate the compassion and integrity shown by leadership and the ability to positively impact our residents’ experience.”
