Marjorie "Jean" Armstrong, 88, of Chickamauga, formerly of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 21, 2025.

She was born to the late Joe T. and Christine Lee Green. She loved working with flowers and taking care of her family. She was retired from the Hamilton County Schools Nutrition System with over 10 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Armstrong; parents, Joe T. and Christine Lee Green; granddaughter, Rebecca Christine Cohen; as well as 13 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Steve) Cohen; son, Lynn (Pam) Triplett; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26, from 4-8 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home-Coulter Chapel.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 27, at 11 a.m. Family will receive guests an hour prior to the service. Pastor Steve Camp will be officiating. The burial will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
