Gladys Mitchell
Gladys Mitchell, 105, of Hixson, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at her home.
She was born in Shellmound, Tn.,was a longtime resident of Paducah, Ky., and Chattanooga. Gladys was a retired sales representative with Target at the Northgate Store and on Highway 153, in Hixson, before retiring at the age of 94. She was a member of Abba’s House.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, George Mitchell.
Gladys is survived by her daughter, Sheila (Frank) Hilley; grandchildren, Corey (Amanda) Nickols and Ashley (Matt) Johnson; great grandchildren, Kelly Nickols, Palmer and Ruth Ann Johnson.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. CST at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah, Ky.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
